The wind kept stealing the shot before I was ready for it. Here's what three days in the Ubud rice terraces actually looked like, wind included.

For years I kept a folder on my phone called someday. Hotel rooms with the light coming in a particular way. A chair I couldn’t stop thinking about. A street in Lisbon I walked down twice because the first time felt like I’d rushed it.
This is that folder, opened up. Where I’ve been and what it actually cost. The things I bought once and still use. The rooms I’ve rearranged four times over. The mornings I got right, and the ones I didn’t.
Before any of this was content, it was just my life — six states, a few countries, a calendar that never really clocks out. I wasn’t building a brand. I was just living somewhere different every few years.
I’m not here to sell you a whole life. Just the good parts of mine, in case any of them are useful to you.

“I’ve missed flights, over-packed, and cried in an Airbnb bathroom more than once. None of that made the cut here — just what actually worked.”

Six spots I’d go back to without thinking twice — a few of them, right below.

Three days · February
I booked Bo-Kaap for the photographs, which is a shallow reason to go anywhere. I stayed for the woman who sold me koesisters on the corner of Wale Street and told me which houses had been repainted that spring.
Six things earning their place right now. Every link is one I actually use.

Goes with everything, apologizes for nothing.

The ones I reach for when the outfit needs one more thing.

Not every closet needs one this dramatic. Mine does.

Packed for every trip, worn on days I didn't wash my hair.

Survived three trips and a kimono cover-up I still own.

Not practical. Not sorry.
Life, styled my way.
